How can I prepare for my interview with OnLine?

OnLine, like any other employer, conducts professional interviews.  That said, it is recommended that you treat your experience with us accordingly by taking a few simple steps in preparation for your interview.  Dress appropriately for your interview, bring a professional resume with you or a detailed list of your work history, a list of professional and personal references with phone numbers, and identification that ID's who you are (ex:  drivers license, state ID card) and that you are able to work in the US legally (ex:  social security card, green card, work authorization card).  Make sure you bring your $5.00 drug screening fee (cash only).  These simple steps help us tremendously, and can only be beneficial to you in your job search.

Will I be skill tested?

OnLine is always striving to make the best fit possible, both for our clients, and our employees.  Because of this, we administer testing to all of our applicants to be sure that each person's skill set will be able to meet the requirements of a specific job.

For our clerical applicants, computer testing will be conducted to assess your knowledge of programs such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Powerpoint. Obviously we'll only be testing you on the programs you are familiar with, though typing and data entry are standard tests for everyone.  This process, depending on testing, will take approximately an hour or so.

For our industrial candidates, you will be required to watch a safety video (40 minutes) and take a test.   We will also give you a dexterity test, assembly test, and reading test (must read a set of instructions and complete questionnaire regarding those instructions).   The industrial process will take you about an hour or so.

Though you may work for one or several of our clients, OnLine will be your employer.  We will be the ones that provide you with your paycheck, benefits, and any assistance you may need throughout your assignment.  We will need to be informed if you'll be absent from work (along with the client you work at), if there are any changes in address or tax information, etc.  We will do our best to help you with any questions or concerns that may come up during your assignment, and provide you with the most positive experience possible.

How long will it take for me to get a job through OnLine?

Star Performer - Each month OnLine recognizes an employee for going above and beyond the requirements of the job.  We keep in close contact with all of our clients and get regular updates on how our employees are doing.  Each month we pick a person that's been consistently above average and reward them with a certificate, an OnLine t-shirt, and a gift certificate to area entertainment such as the movies or a restaurant.

Weekly Pay - We think that the convenience of being paid each and every week (rather than bi-weekly or monthly) is something that is unparalleled in importance.  It makes for easier budgeting, and also is something to look forward to each week!

Attendance Incentives - Many of our clients offer incentives for perfect attendance, from monetary rewards to extra time off.  Varies per client.

Career Transition - In an ever-changing world, OnLine is there to assist you in any way that we can.  We're available for resume critiquing and assistance, we're more than happy to talk with you about possible career paths and be your ally in brainstorming, and we can be a great resource for networking due to the fact that we are locally owned and operated...we are a part of the local community and our ties are strong.

Safe Work Environment - We at OnLine are very "hands on" in our approach to staffing.  We take time to meet with and tour the facilities that we place employees at in order to assess the safety, cleanliness, and overall work environment.  Because of this, our employees can be assured a working atmosphere that is a safe one.
